Schade T3 entering final round of PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada

Devon Schade of Larters At St. Andrews Golf and Country Club shot a sparkling round of 7-under par 64 Wednesday at The Ranch just outside of Edmonton during the second round of the PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada.

Schade’s round included an eagle, six birdies, 10 pars and a bogey.

Schade’s 36 hole 7-under par 135 total is two strokes behind second place David Li Sheman of Emerald Hills Golf Club and three back of leader Wes Heffernan of the Dynamic Motion Golf Performance Centre.

Also representing Manitoba and Northwest Ontario:

Colwyn Abgrall (GOLFTEC Winnipeg) +2 144 (76-68)
Walter Keating (Whitewater Golf Club) +9 151 (76-75)

Failing to make the cut were Bennett Dalke (Niakwa Country Club), Jeremy Gallant (St. Charles Country Club) and Dustin Wilson (Whitewater Golf Club).

Team Manitoba finished T4 in the Team Inter-Zone Championship at 4-under par. Alberta was 1st at 15-under par.
