Performance Centre

The Golf Manitoba Performance Centre is located in the Sport Manitoba building at 145 Pacific Avenue in Winnipeg. The 1,200 square-foot studio features two indoor golf hitting bays and an indoor putting green.

Hitting Bays

Powered by Foresight Sports Canada, our hitting bays are equipped with the latest in object-sensing and image-capturing technology. A GCHawk and GCQuad provide an extensive suite golfer data including ball and club head speed, total spin, carry distance, angle of attack, club path and dynamic impact providing our PGA of Canada coaching staff with critical metrics to aid in athlete development and improvement. The GCQuad has become the launch monitor of choice for more PGA Tour players and coaches than any other technology on the market.

In addition to the practice range application, athletes can hone their skills on 25 different golf courses through the FSX Play software engine. FSX Play uses the Unity graphics engine to deliver a whole new level of virtual golf realism to every course and game experience.

Putting Studio

The indoor putting studio features Bermuda Pro synthetic turf by Rymar Canada. With three separate hole locations, the 160 square-foot putting green provides a variety of options for practice and games.

The Golf Manitoba Performance Centre is the official indoor golf training facility of the Team Manitoba junior development program.

The Golf Manitoba Performance Centre was made possible by funding and support from the 2017 Canada Summer Games Legacy Fund, Sport Manitoba, the Alex & Peggy Colonello Foundation, and a private donation from Don & Sandi Janzen.
