The University of Manitoba Bisons Men’s Golf team had a successful start to the season competing in the Cougar Cup at Deer Valley Golf Club just outside of Regina.
In the Team Division, the Bisons finished in second place with a two round total of 59 over par 635, just six strokes back of the Alberta Golden Bears.
Individually, the Bisons were led by Rory Neill (Glendale Golf & Country Club) who finished fourth on the leaderboard at 10-over par 154 (78-76).
