Golf Manitoba, in association with Golf Canada, is pleased to welcome Thompson Golf Club as our newest member club.
Located just three kilometers north of Thompson along Highway #391, this nine hole course built in 1952 welcomes golfers of all ages and skill level to play from two sets of tee boxes ranging from 2,640 to 3,321 yards.
The proshop is located inside the clubhouse featuring a restaurant with capacity to host corporate gatherings, fundraising events and weddings.
A driving range and putting green is available to enjoy and work on your game.
“Thompson Golf Club is our little piece of majestic beauty in the North” said Club Vice President Jimmy Pelk. “Looking down the fairways you will see tall pines and rolling hills. When teeing it up on the first hole, make sure you drive it straight or you’ll be blocked out by the pines on the both sides of the dog leg right.”
As an official Golf Manitoba / Canada member club, all rounds played at Thompson Golf Club are acceptable for handicap purposes and may be recorded toward establishing or maintaining an official Golf Canada Handicap Index.
