Golf Manitoba, in association with Golf Canada, is pleased to welcome Oakgrove Golf Course as our newest member club.
Recently purchased by Tyler and Stephanie Blahnik, previously known as Prairie Oaks Golf Course, Oakgrove Golf Course is located southeast of Winnipeg, 10 minutes from the South Perimeter off Highway #59 on Oakgrove Road.
This nine hole course was built in 1991 and welcomes golfers of all ages and skill level to play from three sets of tee boxes ranging from 2,673 to 2,918 yards.
“We are excited to join Golf Manitoba and welcome golfers back to our course” said Tyler Blahnik. “This season we have put in a lot of work to make this course a place golfers of all caliber can enjoy. When playing Oakgrove, two of my favourite holes are the seventh hole that has an island green and the ninth hole which has a water hazard in play so you have to be smart if you want to finish with a par.”
The fully licensed clubhouse includes a restaurant available to host both family and corporate gatherings, fundraising events and weddings.
As an official Golf Manitoba / Canada member club, all rounds played at Oakgrove Golf Course are acceptable for handicap purposes and may be recorded toward establishing or maintaining an official Golf Canada Handicap Index.
