Adam Blair (Team Manitoba / Elmhurst Golf & Country Club) is our province’s top performer through 36 holes at Neepawa Golf & Country Club entering Sunday’s final round of the NextGen Prairie Championship.
Blair carded a 1-over par 73 during Saturday’s second round to sit T7 on the Junior Boys leaderboard at even par 144.
Hudson Hunnie (Team Manitoba / Rossmere Country Club) had Manitoba’s best round of the day making four birdies enroute to a 2-under par 70.
Luke Bernakevitch of Victoria, B.C. and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan’s Ryan Mosher are tied for the lead at 6-under par 138. Bernakevitch had a 4-under par 68, one stroke better than Mosher.
Grace Odnokon of Saskatoon has a seven stroke lead on the field in the Junior Girls Championship following a 1-under par 71 and is at 3-under par 141 through 36 holes.
Camryn Thomas (Team Manitoba / St. Charles Country Club) shot a 4-over par 76 and is Manitoba’s top player on the leaderboard in fifth place at 11-over par 155.
Payton Chapman (Team Manitoba / Glendale Golf & Country Club), Jewel Lafleche (Niakwa Country Club) and Angelina Sitarz (Team Manitoba / Elmhurst) also made the cut to play on the final day.
