16 players are within five strokes of earning an exemption into the PGA TOUR Americas Manitoba Open entering Wednesday’s final round of the Nott Autocorp Men’s Amateur Championship at St. Boniface Golf Club.
First round co-leader Rory Neill (Glendale Golf & Country Club) shot a 1-over par 73 Tuesday to sit atop of the leaderboard through 36 holes at 2-under par 142.
Jay Doyle (Niakwa Country Club) is alone in second place at 1-under par 143 following a 73. He, and Neill, are the only players under par in the field.
Patrick Perrin (Elmhurst Golf & Country Club) and Kaleb Lambert (Elmhurst) sit T3 on the leaderboard at even par while Nathan Lepore (Centennial Pines Golf Course) and Allan McDonald (Breezy Bend Country Club) round out the top five at 1-over par 145. Lepore had an impressive round Tuesday at 3-under par 69 featuring seven birdies.
