Angelina Sitarz (Elmhurst Golf & Country Club) finished the opening round of the Canadian U15 Championship at 3-under par in the final nine holes of play to shoot even par 72.
That score puts her T3 on the Girls leaderboard, just two strokes behind Ontario’s Grace Kim of Ontario for the lead.
Makenzie Bartlett (Carman Golf & Curling Club) carded a 91.
Grant Secord (St. Charles Country Club) had one birdie, one bogey and 16 pars on his way to a round of even par 72 to put himself 9th on the Boys leaderboard.
Ty Montour (Scotswood Links) shot a 4-over par 76.
