Braxton Kuntz (Breezy Bend Country Club) shot a 5-under 67 on Monday at Glendale Golf & Country Club to qualify for this week’s PGA Tour Americas Manitoba Open at Elmhurst Golf & Country Club.
Kuntz’s round was highlighted by three eagles on the par five sixth, 14th and 17th holes.
Ryan Blair (Elmhurst) had a great start to the day with a 4-under par 68 to finish T6 on the leaderboard. With the top eight qualifying, Blair went into a four person playoff for three available spots. Unfortunately, he made a bogey on the second playoff and was eliminated.
