Braxton Kuntz (Breezy Bend Country Club) earned a chance to play in this week’s Manitoba Open during Monday’s Qualifier at Glendale Golf & Country Club, and now through the opening round finds himself one stroke off the lead.
Kuntz carded a bogey free 5-under par 65 Thursday at Elmhurst Golf & Country Club.
Nott Autocorp Men’s Amateur Champion Rory Neill (Glendale) shot a 3-over par 73 while local exemption Ryan McMillan of the host course had a 5-over par 75.
