Carl Lechman and David Powell (Elmhurst Golf & Country Club) combined to shoot a 3-under par 69 to win the gross division title at Pinawa Golf & Country Club in the Taylor McCaffrey Men’s Senior Four-Ball Championship. The Elmhurst duo had four birdies, 13 pars and one bogey to prevail by a single stroke over Wayne Giesbrecht and Bruce North (Carman Golf & Curling Club).
Local knowledge paid off in the Net Stableford Championship as the two top teams were from the host course. Don Rogers and John Vincent won with 44 points thanks to two eagles, two birdies, 13 pars and one bogey.
Rogers had the shot of the day recording a Hole In One on the 187 yard sixth hole using a 5-wood.
Colin Houghton and Randy Plett earned the silver medal with 43 points.
