The field of 32 golfers in the Men’s Division of the Manitoba Match Play Golf Championship presented by St. Vital Dental Centre is down to 16 following Thursday’s play at Quarry Oaks Golf Course.
Only two of the top 5 seeds won their opening match, #1 seed Marco Trstenjak of Elmhurst Golf & Country Club and 3rd seeded Joe Scharf of Whitewater Golf Club.

Friday’s play tees off at 1:00 with the second round of Men’s Division play and the start to the Senior Men’s Championship.
The Women’s Division gets underway Saturday morning.
