Binscarth’s Clara Peake, a Golf Manitoba Public Players Club member, is eight strokes off the lead after the opening round of the Canadian Junior Girls Championship in Leduc, Alberta.
Peake shot a six over par 78 to lead the seven Manitobans entered in this year’s event at the Leduc Golf Club.
Also representing our province are Armaan Dhillon, Addison Kartusch, Cala Korman, Jeri Lafleche, Payton Oakden and Crystal Zamzow.
