Darren Hesom (Minnewasta Golf & Country Club) has earned a trip to Spain.
The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour announced on Monday that Hesom, Justin Mrazek of Brooks, Alberta, Preston Proudfoot of Squamish, British Columbia and Leo Savio of Welland, Ontario will represent the MJT and Canada at the 2026 Sergio García Junior Championship from October 2nd to 4th at the Mediterráneo Golf Club in Borriol, Castellón, Spain.
At age 16, Hesom is in his first year as a member of Team Manitoba and currently has a Golf Canada Handicap Index of +0.4.
