Kuntz wins Nott Autocorp Men’s Amateur Championship

It was a memorable ending at the Neepawa Golf & Country Club for Braxton Kuntz.

Kuntz sunk a 30 foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to the 2021 Nott Autocorp Men’s Amateur championship by a single stroke over fellow Breezy Bend Country Club member Ryan Sholdice.

Kuntz shot a final round four under par 70 to finish the event at 272, while Sholdice finished his final round at two under par 70, and at 273.

With all eyes on Kuntz and Sholdice in the final group, Jacob Armstrong of the St. Boniface Golf Club quietly had an impressive round of four under par 68 to finish in third place at 279.
