It was another impressive performance by Addison Kartusch (St. Charles Country Club) this past week south of the border.
Kartusch made it all the way to the 36 hole Match Play Championship Final before falling to American Meadow Tian on the 34th hole. Twice, Kartusch battled back from a three hole deficit in the opening 18 holes.
She started the week at Moraine Country Club in Dayton, Ohio with qualifying rounds of 1-under par 71 and 2-over par 74 to enter the Round of 32 Match Play event as the fifth seed.
Kartusch won her opening match 2up thru the 18th hole, her second match 3&2, her quarter-final 3&1 and her semi-final 2&1.
