Kristian Hammerback (Southwood Golf & Country Club) shot an opening round 6-over par 78 at the Dunes in Kamloops, British Columbia at the 2025 Canadian All Abilities Championship, presented by BDO.
Hammerback’s round puts him T13 on the leaderboard in the gross division and T10 in the net stableford division.
The stableford scoring format set points based off a golfer’s net score for the hole. The points will be awarded are: Albatross (5 points), Eagle (4 points), Birdie (3 points), Par (2 points), Bogey (1 point), Double Bogey or higher (0 points).
Also representing Manitoba are Matteo Lisoway (Minnedosa Golf & Country Club) who shot an 86 to sit T24 in the gross division and 31st in net stableford while Gurmit Sandhu (Golf Manitoba Public Players Club) carded a 91, good for 28th in gross and 20th in net.
