Golf returns to the 2024 Manitoba Summer Games

Staged every two years and alternating between summer and winter sporting events, the Manitoba Games powered by Manitoba Hydro is the largest ongoing multi-sport event in the province.

Multisport Games provide an opportunity for Manitoba’s developing athletes, coaches and officials to participate in a multisport event in preparation for a higher level of competition.

2024 MANITOBA SUMMER GAMES

Golf Manitoba is excited to announce that the sport of Golf will again be included in the 2024 Manitoba Summer Games powered by Manitoba Hydro. The 2024 Manitoba Summer Games will be held in Dauphin, Manitoba with the golf event will take place at the Gilbert Plains Country Club from August 11 to August 14.

2024 Manitoba Summer Games Regional Training Squad Program

To be eligible to participate in the golf component at the 2024 Manitoba Summer Games, athletes must be 16 years old or younger (boys) and 17 years old or younger (girls) as of August 17, 2024. 

Prospective athletes who enroll in the Regional Training Squad Program will will have access to coaching and training by a PGA of Canada golf professional. The Training Squad Program will begin in the early fall of 2023 and will carry over into the spring and summer of 2024. Each Training Squad Member will receive approximately 15 hours of coaching in preparation for the regional team qualifier (date and locations TBD).
