Golf Manitoba is pleased to welcome The Healthy Nut Protein Bar Company as a new corporate partner. The Healthy Nut Bar Company will be a presenting sponsor at the Diamond Athletic Men’s and Women’s Amateur and Mid Amateur Golf Championships taking place July 9-11, 2021 at the Niakwa Country Club.
The Healthy Nut, featuring locally sourced flax seed, is a Manitoba based company created in 2020 to fulfill hunger for a healthy lifestyle. Their multi flavoured protein bars are made with whey isolate protein powder using whole ingredients and are full of natural nutrients we may not get from our everyday diet.
“There comes a time that when you’re halfway through a round you’re feeling lethargic, needing a pick me up so these types of bars have a lot of gluten fats in them from the nuts, butters and seeds,” said Michelle Gospic, CEO of the Healthy Nut. “That good fat is a better snack than if you were to buy something off the shelf which is high in sugar, our only sweetness in our bars is honey.
