Changes to the Public Health Order announced by the Province of Manitoba

The Province of Manitoba has announced an extension of the current public health order restrictions. They are in effect until Saturday, May 29 at 12:01 a.m.:

• Outdoor gatherings with anyone from outside a household are no longer allowed and this applies to all recreation spaces including playgrounds, golf courses, parks and sports fields.

This means that golf is permitted to be played only with members or your immediate household. In the case of someone who lives alone, they are NOT allowed to golf with their one designated visitor.

• Only one person per household will be allowed to enter a business (pro shop).

As golf courses in Manitoba remain open, the Manitoba Allied Golf Associations (Canadian Society of Club Managers, Golf Manitoba, Manitoba Golf Superintendents Association, National Golf Course Owners Association Canada and PGA of Manitoba), continue to encourage all member clubs and participants to remain vigilant to ensure that all public health measures are met or exceeded at all of our golf courses.

A reminder, physical distancing (2 meters / 6 feet) is mandatory with people from outside your household.
