Manitoba Open call for volunteers

Calling all golfers!
It’s official…the Players Cup goes back to its roots and is once again known as The Manitoba Open! This event has raised significant amounts over the years for various charities in our community, and this year, The Manitoba Open organizing committee excited to announce that True North Youth Foundation (TNYF) will be its new charitable partner. The 2022 event is taking place at Southwood Golf and Country Club August 15-21, 2022, and volunteer positions in scoring, marshaling, hospitality, standard bearing and distance measuring are just some of the ways you can get involved.
Your participation as a volunteer will directly support TNYF because all net proceeds from the $39.00 volunteer registration fee (free registration for volunteers 18 and under) will be donated to that important charitable partner. Your registration fee also entitles you to a Manitoba Open logo’d uniform (shirt/hat combo with retail value of $75) plus a minimum of one daily breakfast or lunch buffet during your volunteer shift (retail value $20 per day). Charity, merchandise and great food, not to mention the “inside the ropes” experience at a first class golf tournament, is a combination that is hard to beat!
Volunteer registration is now open and the link to that registration system (EventBrite) can be found here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/249760750127
You can also visit the Manitoba Open website (www.manitobaopen.com) to register to volunteer.
Please consider registering as soon as possible. Volunteers like you are the key to making the 2022 Manitoba Open the best one yet!
If you have any questions or concerns, or if you need any assistance registering, please do not hesitate to contact Pat MacKichan, 2022 Manitoba Open Volunteer Services Coordinator, at volunteerservices@manitobaopen.com
