A record that may never be touched again comes to an end this week at Breezy Bend Country Club as the Hodson Financial Men’s & Women’s Senior Championships tees off Monday through Wednesday.
Rhonda Orr (Southwood Golf & Country Club) is recovering from a medical procedure and unable to participate in the field of 19 vying for the Women’s title ending her run of 10 consecutive championships.

As in years past, both championships are 54-holes of stroke play using Gross scores.
A Net Stableford Division has been introduced to provide an additional competitive opportunity for all players in the championship field. Competitors will automatically be entered into the Net Stableford competition while still competing in the Overall Gross Championship.
The Net Stableford Division will run concurrently with the championship. Net Stableford is a scoring system that awards points based on how well you play a hole after your handicap is applied. 95% of each player’s Course Handicap will be applied.
Below are the Stableford points breakdown:
0 points: Net Double Bogey (or higher)
1 point: Net Bogey
2 points: Net Par
3 points: Net Birdie
4 points: Net Eagle
5 points: Net 3-under-par
6 points: Net 4-under par
Stableford points will accumulate over the 54 holes of the championship.
