Golf Manitoba is currently seeking volunteers to assist with our major championships taking place throughout July. Whether you’re a passionate golfer, enjoy being involved in tournaments, or simply want to give back to the game, we have a variety of volunteer opportunities available.
Our championships would not be possible without the dedication of volunteers who help create a first-class experience for competitors from across the province.
Volunteer Opportunities Available
Spotters
- Help locate golf balls and improve pace of play
- Positioned on key holes throughout the golf course
- Great opportunity to be close to the action and support competitors
Pace-of-Play Checkpoint Monitors
- Help track group pace at designated checkpoints
- Support the efficient flow of play during championships
- Simple administrative role with training provided
Registration Volunteers
- Welcome players and caddies to the championship
- Assist with check-in and distribution of tournament materials
- Ideal for volunteers who enjoy interacting with participants
