The Clear Lake Golf Course, a Golf Manitoba member course, announced this morning:
“As the current pandemic situation continues to increase in severity, the unfortunate decision has been reached to cancel the tournament for 2021. The hopefulness of a few weeks ago where we anticipated an improvement in Manitoba has not occurred. The increased restrictions and a sense of the larger social obligation have led to this decision.
Thank you for your entry and your continued support of one of the longest-running independent golf tournaments anywhere. We will be back in 2022 and plan to finally celebrate the 60th anniversary of this outstanding event. Please keep an eye on your email for updates on the 60th Annual Grey Owl Golf Tournament scheduled for June 10 – 12, 2022.”
Due to the cancellation of the 2021 Grey Owl Golf Tournament, tee times will now be available to the public on June 11, 12 and 13.
