David White (St. Charles Country Club) birdied four of his opening nine holes Tuesday at Niakwa Country Club and will carry a one stroke lead into the second round of the Canadian Senior Men’s Championship.
White, who also made an eagle on the par four – 7th hole enroute to a 3-under par 69, and Scotland’s Ronnie Clark at 2-under par 70 were the only players to break par.

Manitoba (Doyle, Fanning & White) is currently in second place, one stroke off the lead held by British Columbia in the 36 hole Inter-Provincial Team Championship at 3-over par 147.
