From the Gilbert Plains Country Club Board of Directors:
“After careful consideration, the Gilbert Plains Country Club Board of Directors in consultation with all professional involved has made the difficult decision to close the golf course for the remainder of the season.
The decision was not made lightly. Due to ongoing conditions, repair and construction affecting the course, we believe this is the most responsible course of action.
We understand that this news is disappointing. We share the disappointment and sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support during this challenging time.
Many people may have questions or concerns about the course and potential refunds. Currently, we are working with our insurance provider to finalize the details on all aspects. Further information regarding refunds and next steps will be communicated as soon as details have been confirmed.
At this time, the Board will continue to focus on planning for the future, with the goal of ensuring the long term sustainability and success of Gilbert Plains Country Club. As information becomes available, the board will continue to provide details to members and the community.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for your continued support.”
