It was a small roller coaster ride in Michigan for Addison Kartusch (St. Charles Country Club) on Friday competing in her first professional championship.
During the opening three holes of play, Kartusch made a par, birdie and bogey on her way to a 3-over par 75, highlighted by two more birdies on each of the last two holes she played to sit T94 on the leaderboard at the Epson Tour’s Great Lakes Championship at the Highlands.
Australia’s Jennifer Elliott shot a 5-under par 67 for the low round of the day. Canada’s Megan Osland is an a six way tie for second place, just one stroke back.
The 54 hole event continues through to Sunday on the Heather Course.
