Jewel Lafleche (Niakwa Country Club) will be entering the 2026 Golf Manitoba Championship season with a ton of confidence following a busy month of golf in Florida.
Lafleche competed in the Girls 14 to 18 year old division at four Hurricane Junior Tour events finishing in at minimum in the top five on every leaderboard.
- T5 – April 4/5: PGA National Spring Junior Open at PGA National Resort (74-84-158)
- 4th – April 11/12: Rio Pinar Spring Junior Open at Rio Pinar Country Club (77-80-157)
- 2nd – April 18/19: Innisbrook Spring Junior Open at Innisbrook Resort (80-76-156)
- T4 – April 25/26: IMG Country Club Junior Open at IMG Academy Golf Club (73-80-153)
Lafleche is now scheduled to play in three Golf Manitoba Championships (Match Play Championship presented by St. Vital Dental Centre, Junior Girls Championship presented by the Alex & Peggy Colonello Foundation and Diamond Athletic Women’s Amateur Championship) along with the NextGen Prairie Championship hosted at Neepawa Golf & Country Club.
