Addison Kartusch (St. Charles Country Club) shot an 8-over par 80 to lead the five Manitobans in the opening round at Club de golf Sainte Marie in Sainte-Marie, Quebec for the Canadian Junior Girls Championship, presented by BDO.
Kartusch is T37 on the leaderboard entering Thursday’s second round.

Rain forced a delay to Wednesday’s second round at the Canadian Junior Boys Championship, presented by BDO at Gowan Brae Golf & Country Club in Bathurst, New Brunswick.
Ty Brewster (Team Manitoba / Quarry Oaks Golf Course) remains the low Manitoban on the leaderboard when play was stopped.
