Spence Mott (Team Manitoba / Shilo Country Club) & Jeri Lafleche (Niakwa Country Club) remain atop of the leaderboard entering Wednesday’s final round of the Junior Boys & Girls Championships presented by the Alex & Peggy Colonello Foundation at Quarry Oaks Golf Course.
Mott made seven birdies on his way to a 4-under par 68, good for a tournament total of 5-under par, one stroke ahead of Payne Wood (Team Manitoba / St. Boniface Golf Club). Wood also carded a 68 while Ty Brewster (Team Manitoba / Quarry Oaks) sits in third place at even par through 36 holes following a 3-under par 69.

Jeri Lafleche had four birdies during her second round of the Junior Girls Championship shooting a 2-under par 70. With a 3-under par tournament total, she is seven strokes clear of Addison Kartusch (St. Charles Country Club) who shot a 75. Jewel Lafleche (Niakwa), who shot 77, rounds out the top three.
